Function invitation / 2025

Supporting the creation of function and event collateral for Melbourne Grammar School, I designed the invitation for the 150th Anniversary of the Witherby Tower Society. The Witherby Tower Society was founded in 1995 and brings together the valued members of the school’s community who have remembered the school in their Will. The design needed to reflect formality and elegance, with a special touch. To achieve this I created a watercolour illustration of the ‘Witherby Tower’ – one of Melbourne Grammar’s most iconic landmarks. The watercolour was painted at A3, photographed, and scaled down to DL, contributing to a detailed drawing of the Tower, along with students in uniform and the school logo. The main colours used were inspired by the school’s primary colours — blue and gold, ensuring brand alignment.

Campus maps redesign / 2025

In 2025 I re-designed the Campus maps for Melbourne Grammar School. The school has two campuses, a Primary school and a Secondary school, and the re-design allowed for a refreshed and cohesive look for both. It was important for the new maps to be clear and legible for both digital and print purposes. Along with careful consideration of font, symbols, scale and line weight, I also introduced colour whilst ensuring alignment with the existing brand. I used green to highlight the lush grounds and surrounding gardens, as vegetation is a key part of the campuses – some of the trees are historical, iconic and key markers. The new maps were carefully designed in Adobe Illustrator for future-proofing and adaptability. They can easily be exported as different variants (portrait and landscape) and for different audiences (internal and public-facing) depending on their purpose.

Boarding Pamphlet / 2024

Melbourne Grammar School is a day school as well as a boarding school. To help inform prospective parents and students about its boarding program and what to expect, I designed an A5 pamphlet that is distributed at Boarding Schools Expos. The pamphlet has two front covers (two sides) – one side contains information for parents, and the other provides information for students. As the pamphlet is unfolded, it reveals a fun and engaging poster for students to discover the school, its proximity to the city, and some of the activities they can expect to take part in at school and outside of school. The poster has been designed as a collage, with illustrations emphasising each activity and drawing the eye to something new every time you look at it.

Event collateral / 2023

As part of my role at Melbourne Grammar, I design event collaterals. In 2023, new collaterals were created to promote and support the Year 6’s Graduation. I designed keyrings as one of the Year 6’s Graduation gift. The design was inspired by the Primary School’s iconic building, Harleston, illustrated as a one-line illustration. The illustration was used across various collaterals for the event, including the event’s invitation, dinner menu and social media assets, ensuring consistency between each collateral whilst maintaining Melbourne Grammar’s branding.

Self-guided tour map / 2023

As part of my role in supporting Melbourne Grammar’s Admissions team, I designed self-guided tour maps for visitors. Throughout the year, there are various campus tours, and on occasions guests are welcome to explore the grounds without a tour leader. The map acts as a guide for users, and its small size allows them to easily take it home for later reference. To make it clear and engaging, I drew each key building in perspective and placed them on an illustrated campus. The map folds out to A4, with the reverse side containing information about each location, along with additional details available via QR codes. It has been designed as long-term collateral, easily updated yearly as the school campus changes. The use of a single colour ensures cost-effective printing.

Campus Illustrations / 2022

As part of Melbourne Grammar School’s Towards 2030 publication, which sets out the School’s strategic intentions, I was responsible for the illustration of the two School campuses – Grimwade House (Primary school) and South Yarra (Secondary school). I illustrated the school grounds by hand and digitally painted the drawings in Adobe Photoshop using watercolour techniques – grisaille and glazing. In the same year, I adapted the campus illustrations to Alumni event collaterals.

Tinyme and Opiqo Digital Collaterals / 2021

As part of my role as a Designer at Tinyme and Opiqo, I contributed to various stages of design, from the early stages of product development to marketing. I researched and documented, illustrated, animated, lead photo and video shoots, video edited, and designed a range of merchandise and promotional assets for social media and websites. Assets were also created for eDMs designed to suit various country destinations including Australia, United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Ireland, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and United Arab Emirates. In addition to this, I also developed efficient digital workflows in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign where our bank of artworks could easily be applied to variety products and configurations, within numerous room settings.

Teach For Australia Animation / 2021

I designed a 15-second animation for Teach for Australia (TFA) to use at the beginning of their videos. The intention of the animated introduction was to give greater brand exposure to viewers. This project was an open brief, so it provided the opportunity to creatively develop a short storyline to represent my understanding of what TFA is about – a company that offers individuals the opportunity to take a leap and leave their mark across Australia. The style of illustration used was developed to reflect one that is relatable to students, teachers and schools, which are TFA’s main target audience. The animated assets were drawn in Adobe Photoshop. The splash of colour was created using cell animation in Photoshop, and other animated elements, including the animated assets, the walk and run cycle, etc were animated in After Effects.

One Padel branding / 2021

This project involved designing the branding for One Padel – a company partnered with Tennis Australia and the Australian Padel Federation. Padel is a fast growing sport with the unique mix of tennis and squash. The logo design was inspired from a padel ball and racket shape. The colour and font, along with the other design elements developed for the brand, were inspired by the modern and dynamic nature of the sport. As part of this project, I also designed One Padel’s merchandising products, including rackets, water bottles, t-shirts, sweat bands, visors, caps, stickers, and branding for their courts.

MSD Machine Workshop Infographics and Signage / 2020

This project involved developing educational posters and signage for the Melbourne School of Design (MSD) Machine Workshop. The MSD Machine Workshop is a making space, open to The University of Melbourne staff and students. As part of my role as a Machine Workshop Technician, I was also responsible for the development of the posters for the space, required to guide and inform staff and students. I designed infographics illustrating properties of timber, timber joinery, as well as machine parts, tools and their operations. The posters were developed and designed using Rhinoceros, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, keeping in line with the workshop’s branding.
