Experimental Alphabet / 2020

‘Experimental Alphabet’ was a 2-week project undertaken as part of the subject Experimental Typography at RMIT in 2020. The project involved making a lo-fi 16-page print publication showcasing 26 unique and experimental letter forms inspired by ‘Swanston Street’. The final publication showcases a unique alphabet inspired by 26 collected leaves along Swanston Street. The printed publication is the epitome of lo-fi, with the 16-page publication being at its smallest possible size (74mm x 105mm) made with a single A3 sheet. It was also printed by myself using a Risograph printer, a type of printer known for being eco-friendly. The publication was available for purchase at the NGV Art Book Fair in March 2020.
